How do your golf stats vary over time ?

Saddo alert, just been working through some data I pulled 2011 to 2017 (all at same course) to see how my average score per hole/9 etc has varied over time....

Can see how much more difficult the back 9 is - 9 hole comps off front 9 take 2 shots off handicap if you play in them how they score it for handicap purposes (off my handicap level) ....

Seems to indicate improvement playing the back 9 more than the front 9 over the period.

Interesting for me how the holes do/don't vary over time, also totalled the 9's.

Shows just how bad I am !!

Handicap varied between 10 (last year) to 16 over the period and probably been between 12 & 13 most of the time and currently off 12. Had some runs of very poor golf then some hot streaks.

Qualifiers averaged 27 per year 2011 to 2015 - then increased to 50+ 2016 and circa 40 2017 so far.

Pasted table but cannot get format very good.

How do you find your golf varies over time ?

I used to keep stats using Scores average.
Off the top of my head, the only steady I remember was that over a period of 5-6 years I averaged between 30 and 31 putts

Actually, I have this theory that I am in fact a schiizophrenc with a mutliple personality. There is one who hits beautiful drives, one with a hell of a short game, one good iron player and even one who can putt. The problem is that those guys absolutely don't get along and never show up at the same time ...

I do not need to keep stats to know that age makes my games worse.

15-20 yards lost off iron length and around 30 yards lost off the driver over past 2-3 years.

Just taken my 2014 and 2017 stats.

GIR - 27%
Putts per round - 33.16
Sand saves 12%
Par scrambles - 17%

2017
FIR - 40%
GIR - 18%
Putts per round - 32.89
Sand saves 25%
Par scrambles * 16%

Clear that I've regressed in terms of GIR but putting and sand saves better. Not sure other than for interest how much use comparing like for like is as I'd prefer to look at current trends and see which areas of my game are struggling and rectify those. That said, I do like to delve into my stats and look at how I was performing at different times, especially if the handicap was dropping or going up regularly

Annoyingly when you move club. Hdid delete your stats.

This year. As expected my worst hole is the 4th. Best the 8th. No surpise as one is a tough par 4 and the other a simple enough par 3.
