One of those idle moment ponderings.

So Stand bag / cart bag how do you fill your bag.

Stand bag do you put wedges at bottom where they can b masked by longer clubs above ... or longer clubs at the bottom where they snag on the shorter clubs above

Regardless of bag, longer clubs at the top, shorter clubs at the bottom, just so that the heads of the wedges aren't clattering against the grahite shafts of the woods.

Having said that, I have my putter at the top, (own head cover), and my 4 short wedges down one side of the bag.

Can't believe I actually replied to this! Ah well soaps are on!!

Driver + 3 wood in the top section
5 wood + hydrid in the next
5 and 6 iron in middle right
7,8 and 9 in the lowest section
4 wedges in the middle left
Putter in upper middle left - its own space.

Idle ponderings??

I have 4 sections in both my bags. Woods and Rescue in the top. 3,5,6, left 7,8,9, right. PW/GW/SW + putter bottom.

Putter moves around....silly thing....easier in the top really.

Now, onto solving the world financial crises.....

I start the round with the longest clubs at the top working to the putter at the bottom. By the end of the round god knows, my drivers in the trees, my putters in the pond and my irons are nicely decorating a few selected fairways

Baring in mind my CD and DVD collections at home are all in alpthabetical order, as you can imagine my bag is organised in a similar fashion.

I'm so anal about clubs being in the right place! Evan my spares in the shed are organised in order!

I have 7 sections in my IZZO bag. Bottom are putter, 60° and 54° wedge. The nex 4 sections belong to my irons P9, 87, 65, 43, a smaller section for my 4 hybrid, and the large top section for 2 hybrid + driver

Sorry, but CD's in alphabetical order! That's lame for a bloke ;)

The hours as a youngster that I spent 'organising' my album collection. There was by year realeased, by genre, chronological by last played, order of which ones the girlfriend liked so that she could find them easily, by country of the band, by highest chart position, by 'mood', and so on! :D

In My Bennington Bag there is really only one way the clubs go in. Irons long to short around the outside & driver, 3 wood & 5 or hybrid in the centre sections. Aditional wedge, or wedges in the side centre. Putter in its side tube. Balls in the bottom pocket. Tees, glove, club cleaner & sharpie marker, ball markers in the devided top pocket. Side pockets, waterproofs one side, jumper & other stuff the other one. Drink in drinks cooler pocket.

As for other bags & stand bags it'll be Driver at the top & I'll work down through the woods, through long irons to the wedges& the putter in one corner.

I like things in order, everything in its place. Really hate it when the order of the stand bag gets mixed up if I've been in a hurry, or if someone has been messin' with my bag.

Whatever the bag, the general layout will always be similar for me. Balls always in the big bass pocket & Tees will always be in a top pocket.
