How do you avoid temptation of new shiny bats?

So i popped into my pro shop today after having a spare half hour i went and did some putting.

Having a coffee and a chat, 5 minutes later i am in the net with a TM TP MC and oh my goodness how nice? So how do i stop myself thinking i need to swap to these when i know full well my Rbladez are awesome (ok a bit chunkier and not forged) but still awesome!

Also on the lookout for shaft options for my driver to save me testing out the SLDR, i25, Amp Cell and any others that may be worth having a whack with! oh i hate golf shops, why do i go in them?!

Walked into our pro shop yesterday to find a dozen new Callaway bags full of new Big Bertha drivers, X2Hot drivers, driving irons, iron sets etc. Basically all the new gear and loads of it (the demo man had dropped it all off for a weeks trial)...... how can I not be tempted....

Mate just convince yourself, that despite your full custom fit experience, you actually can't play with your current set because they are tooooo chunky. Seems to work for some

You also need to fill the forum pages and twitter etc with your custom fit musings.

This won't stop you buying, but you'll feel better when you eventually/inevitably do

Those new TM TP's sure are pretty:thup:

Invariabley I'll still try them, just to see how they are. I have no intention of buying as they will be no better for me than what's currently in my bag.

I find it easy to resist as don't fall into the trap of thinking new shiney clubs will maketh the golfer, and that my current ones are the only thing holding me back from single figures I'd rather spend my money on lessons and playing other courses :thup:

I have a real Diamana S+ (new incarnation of blueboard) with a TM adaptor that's only had 2 rounds before I decided to go back to my other one!

Re the new shinys dont make the player, i am more than aware of this!! otherwise i would be CAT1 by now with all the new gear i have had! I think i am half woman, i like buying things, especially (in fact only) golf related!
