How did u celebrate your 40th.

I am assuming we have a sizeable 40+ crowd in the forum? How did you celebrate your 40th. What did you get?

Hitting the milestone this year, and HID wants to do something. Am not so sure.. I might get a Titelist custom fit..

Had a big party in my house in Philippines. Lots of friends, lots of food, lots of drinks, lots of games including the 357 Mad Dog Hot Sauce eating contest , which wasn't pretty. Home made 'Deal or No Deal', Lots of singing. Followed by some serious hangovers. Unforgettable.

Doesn't happen for me till 2016, but brother-in-law hits it as well then. We've already informed the wives that we're off up to St Andrews, hoping to get Old Course and Kingsbarns in whilst we're there.

My best mate and I went to Quinta do Lago, stayed in the five star hotel for a week and played in the British Airways invitational. Fabulous!

It's mine in October so I have to think of something for me and the missus to do. I fancy myrtle beach or orlando for two weeks but if its only a week then Turkey or bulgaria all inclusive so I can take the golf clubs for at least 4 rounds (she doesn't know that yet).

Had the party to end all parties.

In my regular 4 ball, 3 of us have our birthday in the same week. I was 40, one guy was 50 and the 3rd guy was 60. 15 years later, people still talk of that party.

Although all 3 of us are now at different clubs we still meet up once a month for a blast!

The wife organised a surprise 40th in the local pub. All the locals were there and they had a local pub singer playing. Great night and I drank way too much.
