Just a thought and then maybe then we can once an for all see who can back up there claims, could do it by area and a judge be there to all who enter

Have you played Camberley Phil ? Steve drove the 18th. 300 yards plus, all carry. Fortunately he waited for the green to clear, and it was witnessed by quite a few forumers.

Thats impressive hitting - much kudos for that !! Did he three putt though :D

Think he holed a short putt for eagle. Fortunately I was playing behind and not in front.;)

Mind you with his dodgy back and knees, and getting on a bit, he is more of a pea shooter these days.

Very ordinary at the moment mate! I did have my swing speed done today though which was a little reassuring but long way to go!

At 55% right now!

Could always have a parallel ' red tees boys' comp for us shorter hitters. :)

Let me know when you are down to 10%, so I can fly one past you. Are you coming to North Hants later in the month ?

what is your SS out of interest?

any LD comp would have to be split by age groups I'm afraid. I dont hit or swing as long as I used to 35 years ago, and its hard to keep up with young lithe muscles these days

How about a competition for the guys who can miss the fairway by the most?

Judging by the way I drove the ball yesterday, I'd be bookie's favourite!

It was a bridgestone ball fitting with a mobile launch monitor but the slowest one was 128mph the average being 132mph and the fastest being 138.1mph.
I struggling to middle a putter at the moment let alone a driver on the course.

I have no idea about the accuracy of the machine but the guy seemed to trust it and knew his stuff.
