Im not doing too well in the Fantasy league, I'm alright with the Euro events, but I dont have a clue with the US ones.
So, who is going to do well in the Phoenix open. All I could come up with is;
P Mickelson
B Watson
P Goydos
J B Holmes
C Villegas
I Poulter

I would take Poulter off that, think he'll struggle a bit, reaction to the win yesterday.
I would agree JB Holmes. He's a past winner at Phoenix and is a good call to do well!

Big Phil is usually in the hunt on the West coast swing and usually feeds off the galleries(that love him) there.
Holmes and Mickelson are definitely your best bets.

It's a crazy, crazy event, but one I look forward to watching every year. I'd hate all tourneys to be like it, but the crowds at this are unheard of at any other tourney.

I'll maybe put an outside bet on O'Hair, Johnson or Perry come Thursday.

I may change Poulter for Johnson, I just feel that Poulter with his positive attitude will go into the event with a lot of momentum. I suppose the US crowds will try and bing him down after his win though. Decisions

Your getting very close to my team try and pick your own,lol,ive changed some of my players 3 times already,finding it hard to be different than others.

I think there are certain players that stand out on the list for everyone, I just wanted to start doing a bit better as im still sitting in about 5500th place, lol, and most of the players I picked last week weren't even in the tournament. I only worked out today how to get the list of entrants.

hey all, just joined this forum and looking through the posts. My thoughts on this one would have to be with JB but as a little side bet on Nick Watney.

He is, or at least was last year, one of Butch Harmons kids and was considered the best of the bunch he had.

I have been following him and he had a couple of good Thursdays and Fridays but fell away. Anyways just my two cents. One of these days he will win and repay me lol.

After my good luck on Poulter in the WGC I banked my winnings but left £20 in the account. Spent that -
£10 on Mickelson, £5 on Kaymer and £5 on Holmes.

All to win, no each ways.

Kind of regretting I didn't go each way with Holmes, doesn't win much but places well regularly.

I rarely bet ew unless its on the national lol. Its like betting on a player to lose in my eyes, whereas a 100/1 shot placing is just like a normal runner winning

Will stick with big Phil, JB Slow, Perry and not sure on the other three yet. Usually look at some betting websites and see who is fav or short odds.

I have decided to take a risk im currently in 8th position in the GM forum league and i need to be different to close the gap so its all or nothing ive left out all the favourites.

I've basically given up! Can't pick more than 1 or 2 points scorers any week so I'm so far behind. Unless I get a really big score this week I'll just be making up the numbers.

Came 14th overall last year and won a dozen balls
This year I'll come about 3014th!

Had an absolute crap week last time round "Nil point", first time I've failed to score. Plummeted down the rankings as a result.

Have to try and pull something out of teh bag this week.
