Hot air balloons, another flipping wasted day.

My daughter as a wedding present to us last September bought us a Virgin hot air ballon ride. Got it last September and obviously during the winter there was no point in booking.
first try, Tashyboys anniversary in May. Cancelled and a day off work for missis Tashyboy wasted.
today all set for seeing glorious Derbyshire from Bakewell. Cancelled.
Ave seen more wind come out of me grandsons backside.
grrr grrr flipping grrrr.
at least I consoled myself with a Hardwick inns belly busting mixed grill.

my missus had the same issue, nightmare, always the wrong weather.
We're heading to the Bristol balloon festival next weekend though, always good to watch.

Missis T has rebooked today, the bird on the other end of the phone was gobsmacked that we never flew/ floated and had to check with the pilot to confirm.
the week we have free means we have to get up at 4 am for a six am flight but have to ring at 22.45 the previous night to see if we can fly. Smart five hours sleep.
