News coming through that ITV will replace Channel 4 Racing from January 2017, the 4 year deal has cost ITV £30m, it would seem that ITV will have all the big races with some smaller meets still shown on C4.

If the current presenters don't come over from C4, who would you like to see instead fronting it and supporting it?

Alistair Downs should be involved on the current format IMO.

True, already been disclosed to some degree in the Racing Post but it's a done deal now.

I've just downloaded my Copy of the RP and read it. I'm amazed to be honest and I think it will fall flat on its face if they show it over ITV and ITV 4. It needs to be on the main channel on a Saturday afternoon.

i think the current set of presenters are good but i would like to see Alistair Downs involved, the man speaks sense. They need to keep Mc Cririck off TV though!

Agree Alistair Down should be involved.

McCririck may be getting past it, but he has done much that is good in racing over the years that went under the radar, particularly for the punters. Really nice guy the one time I had a chance to speak to him before racing at Newmarket around 20 years ago.

I hope that they don't get A P McCoy involved. When he achieved as a jockey was outstanding, but he always seemed to be fairly miserable when I came across him.

Frankie Dettori would be a good presenter. Great personality and he doesn't just put on an act for the cameras.
