Sad to report i left my newish galvin green jacket in either the secure changing rooms at my club on in the bar at the end of weekend swindle. I was hoping a fellow member or staff would have picked it up and handed it in was i expecting to much? :( :(

Not guilty m'lud........see Far Sale section ;)

Sorry to hear about that - would have expected something of that value to be handed in TBH.

You must be gutted, you really would have expected the honest and upstanding pillars of golf to have handed that in rather than bagging it.

I mean golf balls and tees etc are perhaps expected finds out on the course but club covers, clothing and clubs on the course and even more so in the club house should be handed in IMHO.

It may yet turn up. Someone may have forgotten that they picked it up, and hand it in next week.
We have a drying room, and anything left lying around gets bunged in there. One minute you think it's been nicked, and the next you find it's just been tidied away.

This really grinds my gears, we are all in teh sport together and it fecks me right off that someone would do this. A friend used he's R7 driver when they first come out to messure how far he's two club lengths were for a drop, left the club leaning against the tree and on the last hole went for it to find he had left it there, run back and it was gone, asked every group coming in if anyone had found it .... guess what!

We played golf last June at Manor of Groves for a little jolly boys outing.

One of the lads who played dropped him brand new blackberry on the course and tried to find it but couldn't. Sod's law he had no battery so we couldn't even ring it.

Golf club had the main even playing on the same weekend as us and someone handed the phone in on the following day (still comp day)

I presumed that as it was a memebers bash that someone would hand the phone in which they did, doubt it would be the same on a non comp day!

You never know mate but if your course gets alot of visitors there some heartless people about.

I hope you get it back

Sad to say it was in our neck of the woods {Westerham }no one has handed it in i think i have learnt a very good lesson!!!
