Having had apparent success with Gibbo, Virtuocity and Jimboo....

A dedicated teacher

A dedicated student

Would it work?

Now that is a question.
Not sure even JustOne could strip back the layers & really understand the complexity of a swing that is unique to Homer

PS- James, I can now hit irons and despite hitting the sand 6 times in 9 holes (whoops), I escaped every time and made my second ever sand save.

Impact feels very good but I need to now work on the Second Rule Of Swing Club.

What was the poll question?
'Should/Could this happen?'

There were 9 (multi-)choices - and Private!

1. Yes! It needs to happen
2. Impossible. Even JustOne can't perform miracles
3. Won't Happen. Homer will refuse to change.
4. Impossible. Homer needs a PGA Pro.
5. Won't Happen. JustOne won't take the challenge on
6. Don't do it. Local Pros livelihoods will suffer!
7. Don't do it. It will destroy both of them!
8. Yes do it. And record/blog the process.
9. Who Cares!

Any more options?

Why does this seem like a cheap attempt at belittling two people to me?

Adjusted for accuracy

I'd help Homer if he wanted me to. I've got quite a few 'challenges' already booked in for October. Ultimately it's down to the player.... if they want to change then they'll change, if not they won't. Of the three people mentioned in the OP...

I've helped Gibbo although I have no idea how he's getting on or whether he's going to do ANY of the things we discussed.

I've helped Virtuocity and he appears to be doing a lot better. Waiting on some video.

I've helped Jimbooo and he's going in the right direction and has a swing that could see him get to scratch.

I've lost count of the people that 'secretly' PM me, it's would be easier to count the ones that DON'T.

I can assure you it was certainly not meant that way! Fancy changing the options?

In fact, if the challenge was taken up, there's potential for achieving something quite remarkable!

I'd like to see it. No recording of the swings, just record the conversations and stick them on YouTube. The would be brilliant 'cos they are both a little mental!!:D

I thought the same- :( cheap shot and uncalled for imo

Not really. Both are very vocal re their golf, James with his knowledge of the swing etc, homer with his posts & blog about his onward quest for something

Seems logical to me, infact I believe they have spoken s&t before :D

I agree - though I'm not sure whether a 'conversion to S&T' would be considered.

Seems to me that the naysayers are simply showing their own prejudices! My options seemed pretty balanced to me.

And a successful result would be a massive plus for both!

my 'prejudices' as you call them are just to see people treated equally with respect, I don't think its very respectful to single out one person that strives to better himself and 'challenge' another forummer (whom you've had many online spats with) to try and improve him.

Possibly its the clumsy way you have gone about it as the challenge per se with consenting individuals could be interesting, key word though is consenting.
