Has anyone else contemplated or has installing/installed a trackman/flight scope/GC2 bay in their house?

If I ever had the means to build a 'mancave' that would be first instalment no doubt.

My question is what all would you need?

Your application of choice, lets say trackman
A range mat
A screen to hit into and a catch net or two
Then a monitor to read your results out of

Anything else at all?

Or even, would you like it for yourself, or think it's completely stupid?

You wouldn't even need that. A golf net and a gc2 would give you the stats and stop the golf balls from breaking anything, albeit you may wish to make it look a little slicker than that...

No doubt that would be better, but be prepared to spend quite a bit more. I believe the software, etc. for that is not inexpensive... but if you're doing it, why not do it properly. :-)

This is our man cave at the club.

Full simulator which has target golf, driving range, nearest the pin and a few other functions.

We won't discuss the 50" tele, poker table and pull table ;)

It's a tempting idea but how much are these decent launch monitors? The cost of these would make it prohibitive I think

I'm sure I've seen a few flight scopes on the bay for around £1000-£1200 , someone like yourself home would benefit from this surely.

That's not an insult more the way you like to structure your practice.
