Any fans ?

Just watched the first episode of the 4th series and was an interesting start

Waiting to see if it can work without Brody about

Not seen it yet, maybe tonight or tomorrow. I'm sure they have enough threats that they can spin a new story without Brody - his story started to wear a bit thin I thought. Will wait and see.

Yep watched it, liked it. I thought the last series dragged a bit until they got to Iran. Last night seemed faster paced.

It must be like watching a documentary for you and adey though Phil, seeing as you've got the ear of miltary intelligence;)

Yeah know what you mean about the last series - certainly took its time

And I must deny all knowledge when it comes to the last comment ;)

Missed the first 20 minutes on +1 as I couldn't get possession of the remote then promptly fell asleep before the end, is that a sign

Sky plussed it so will watch it later. Last series completely jumped the shark with all that stuff about Brody's daughter and a few other plot lines that made the first few episodes drag, and it didn't really recover from that. Nearly gave up but stuck it out to the end, but hoping this will be more series 1 than series 3.

I thought when Brody died it would be end of the story line. Looks like Saul is going to get a comeback but will stick in there nd see how it pans out.

I see that the character John Redmond, the cunning deputy station chief in Pakistan, is none other than the actor who played Danny Noonan in Caddyshack. Be the ball, Danny!

Can I just say Homeland is so back on track now after the pretty awful third series. In fact this series may be up there with series 1, which is high praise indeed. Don't miss Brody one bit.

Interesting, I haven't watched the last 2 episodes as I was finding it pretty dull - I might risk them then

I think if you got through series 3 then this is loads better. There's some pretty dramatic stuff in the episode last Sunday so I'd give them a go.

Why wouldn't it, the main character is Carrie not Brody. Never has been Brody.

Ultimately now a few episodes in and it is turning out very good, hopefully people will realise Brody was only a part of the story and not THE story.
