Holidays? Where you off to this year?

Me and the other half are busy booking up for a holiday at the moment and have decided on the following for mid August:-

Flight from Edinburgh to Madrid then taxi transfer to a favourite wee place of ours, named Chinchon, for 4 nights here http://www.casadelamarquesa.com/en/ to take in the annual local festival which involves,music,dancing,bullfighting and generally having a party!

On day 5 it's bus into Madrid and then 4 and a half hour train journey down to Granada for 3 nights staying here http://www.solarmontesclaros.es/Ingles/index1.html ....really looking forward to Granada as it looks like a fine city,oh and it's the heart of Spain Tapas!!

Day 8 its's a wee bus journey to Madrid to catch the tail end of the Malaga summer fair before heading home from Malaga to Edinburgh late the next evening.

Looking forward to it,plenty sun,plenty good food,plenty ale and fun and a bit of culture!

Cottage up near Whitby - watching the Steam Trains from the balcony, beer in hand and crab fishing by Whitby Bridge.
I can live with that.

Ireland golfing with the lads in June then back to Ireland with family to Porstewart for a week in July and some golf with my young lad superb,and plenty Guinness.

Got a good deal on a member of my clubs villa south of Malaga, overlooking the championship course,Los Flamingos. Two weeks in July. Now just need to find someone to play with.

Haven't been abroad for a couple of years as I dont see the value in expensive flights that dont seem to be guaranteed these days along with the exchange rate being so bad in europe.

So we have a few breaks in England and Scotland.

May - Kenmore nr Aberfeldy 4 nights at Diamond Resorts

Yes we have a timeshare with Diamond Resorts.

Did a post about hols some weeks ago.

We're off to Madeira in September, with my mate and his wife, the girls get on well and we'll have a few rounds while they go shopping or relax in the spa.

We usually have a great laugh when eating out in the evenings, after a few beers and a couple of bottles of wine!

Maybe a trip to Carnoustie to the Tassie if the waiting list goes down dramatically.

A two night stay in North Berwick. Golf could be involved!

Having a chilled out week in Corfu in July, just me and the missus. Kids are well capable of looking after themselves now, HID still worries while we're away though.

Hoping to get a classy hotel golf/spa (for the women) weekend with a mate and his missus this summer also.

We have booked two weeks in Orlando in July. It'll be my first time to the USA and figure Disney World is a good place to start.
