Afternoon all,
Looking to have a family holiday next year around aug time. Have a six and eight year old, anyone recommend a good all inclusive resort, or good sites to look at please. Don't want to spend a fortune but do realise it will be more expensive due to school hols.

Cheers

Went to Turkey with the Mrs last August (Marmaris). It was lovely but HOT, the temp topped out at 42C on our last day. We were fine with it but it might be a bit much for little ones? Have a good dig around for your flights as well, we went with Thomson and it was actually cheaper to go from Bournemouth than from Gatwick:thup:

Went to Ibiza thomson family resort 2 years ago, very good with kids clubs (english staff) to give you a break, food was good. Heading to Portugal with Thomson family village this year as been told very good also.
Kids were kept entertained so easy for us. There around the same age as yours

Have a look at Northern Cyprus or the quiet part of Ibiza

Cape Verde is supposed to be very nice and can never go wrong with the Canaries

Northern Cyprus is superb this is mine and family's villa just outside Esentere 5 mins from Korineum golf and country club, not been yet due to illness but going for a few months next year, family say it is wonderful !!!!!!,dont you hate family.

Another vote for the Canaries. Although I am probably in the minority in that I don't like it when it is too hot. So I tend to go abroad at Easter/Whit/October half term week (Canaries are great this time of year as you can just about guarantee sun but it's not roasting) and holiday in the UK in the summer. As to me it's not fun trying to enjoy yourself when it is 30 degrees plus most of the time, always worrying about if the kids have enough sun block on etc etc. Too hot. But as I said, that's probably just me.
