HOLE LENGTHS ON HOME COURSE

Just wondering about the length of holes on your home course from medal tees.

I will start with my home course:

Par 3's 5 holes---146 yds Shortest--182 yds Longest.
Both over water--9th shortest hole on Course.
Par 5's 4 holes---489 yds Shortest--565 yds Longest.
18th Longest hole on the Course.
Par 4's 9 holes---372 yds shortest--417 yds Longest.
Only 3 Par 4's under 400 yds.

6 par 3's two of which are over 210 yards the shortest is 139

4 par fives shortest being 478 the longest is 535. The last is a par 5 and the 3rd shot is to a green protected by a lake very close to the putting surface

8 par fours ranging from 320 to 430 yards. Four of the par 4's are over 400 yards and for most players are very hard to get up to in two shots

Its an interesting and fair challenge to all levels

Par 3s - 4....100/150/177/188
Par 4s - 12....shortest 290, longest 440
Par 5s - 2....500 and 510

If you only have 3 par 4s under 400, I'm glad I don't play at yours!! We have NO par 4's between 350 and 400...odd that..???

Thanks for giving me the chance to drone on about how tough my course is.
The fourth is the longest hole in Spain (619 METRES) i.e. 682 yards. There are three par-fours that, off the back tees, are really par-fives (i.e. more than 475 yards).
There are three holes that are gifts but can still give you a headache.
Come and play when you want.

par 3's (5) - 133 to 173, first three are over water and only one is completely clear of it
par 4's (10) - 280 to 447, three dog-legs around lakes, ponds or an arboretum; two others play long.
par 5's (3) - 481 to 503, the longest is the first, a dog-leg round the lake (new planting will restrict the long bombs in time).

there are places to cut corners - provided you stay dry!

one par 4 is undergoing major surgery which will make it longer but remove an OOB. Lots of planting and/or tree surgery which will change the way a lot of holes play.

MVP - hi. Me & the mates fancied coming down there as it looks a nice course. But as we play weekends we wondered about whether it gets busy what with 18 tees for the nine holes. Your comment appreciated as we'd quite like to play the place.

par 4s - longest 449yds shortest - 251yds

par 5s - 519yds, 589yds, 594yds, 535yds

long par 5s, i know, that explains why i've yet to make an eagle!
