Hole in one

I was playing Wycombe Heights Par 3 course the other day with a mate and his grandad, it was the Par 3 club day (my first time with these guys) and my mates grandad hits a hole in one on the 9th. It was the best thing I have ever seen and everyone around was overjoyed.

It was truly amazing and I got a beer out of it!!

Having grown up playing the Wycombe Heights Par 3 course, I can testify that that's no mean feat.

It's not a pitch and putt, with some genuine long(ish) holes, and some interesting slopes on the greens!

i played Silvermere on saturday afternoon solo and ended up going around with 3 other chaps. it was pissing down. on the 15th i was about 5 inches away from having my first hole in one, the divet mark was perfect length and just 5 inches to the right. still the birdie felt tasty enough
