Hole in 1

Really happy today I had a hole in one in my compitition which i won like.

It was a long par 3 which i was going to take a hybrid off then took a few clubs less a 6 iron because it was downwind searched for about five minutes then relised it was in the whole thought it had went off the back nope straight in.

Nice one Mono. I've Come close a few times, but the old addage of an inch being as good as a mile & all that, means that hole in ones are something rather special & worth remmbering & savouring...

My first hole in one came in a junior medal as well, 4th hole at Fereneze, just doubled the 3rd them holed a nine iron at the 4th.

Well done Mono, Its quite an achievment.
I've not managed it in 8 years, and i'm sure there's a lot of golfers who have been playing a lot longer who have still not had a hole in one. Enjoy it

I once hit the side of the cup on an elevated 190 yd par 3. it made a right mess of the side of the hole.
The ball ended up in a greenside bunker.
Typical!!

Over 30 yrs on and off, hit flags so many times I forget, and you trot along without so much as a by your leave and pop one in, just like that! YOU B.............no seriously well done there and make the most of it, keep the ball and get it framed, well done.

Back in the day, when I was junior, the third hole on the old course at Barton, was over a ravine it was only about 150/60 but daunting.

Playing in a comp I stood on the tee and drove straight into the there ravine!

Put another ball down had a swing, pitched on the front bounced twice a rolled into the hole! I took the par and walked to the next tee.

I think that is the closest I will ever come to a hole in one.

I have had 2, on the same hole. Unfortunatly it was only on a par 3 course when I was about 12 years old. Two pure flukes.

I had a flurry of hole in 1's last week, 6 I think in the same round, again it was only crazy golf in the trafford centre and I cam in 3 under par Mrs won an £80 meal voucher for john lewis' too.
