I've just got a new Callaway driver and I'm hitting it really high. My last driver went quite low but the lofts are the same. Does anyone know if this is a good thing or a bad thing? It's been so dry on the fairway that the ball is rolling for miles so I can't really tell if the distance is the same or not.

The modern driver is designed to hit the ball high. The theory is that this increases the balls hang time and therefore the distance. However there is a difference between hitting the ball high and skying it. If you are doing the latter you will be loosing distance.
