Hit my first Birdie On Saturday

Playing at Forest park Old Foss 18 hole course(York). I was not having a good day at all shots were not going where I wanted and I was getting really frustrated. Came to the 16[SUP]th[/SUP] par 4 drove off the tee into the rough which is how the day was going anyway. From the rough took the 6 iron out set up to the ball and everything just felt right took my swing and the ball came off really nice and the guys were saying what a great shot. I didn’t really think much of it but couldn’t see my ball as there was a bunker in front of the hole. Watched the other guys play and as I walked closer to the green I could see I was inches away from the hole and had a nice easy birdy put. I let the other guys go. Placed my ball back and I was in for a Birdy. Whoop whoop :whoo:

It is quite mad how this game works you have can a horrible game all round but a hole like that just makes the whole day.
