hit in the head

No it wasnt me and no i didnt do it either.
playing the 5th hole this eve and see this fella waving and calling at me.then i see him tending to someone on the floor.i rush over as now i know somin is wrong and this guy has a big gash and plenty of blood on top of his head.turns out his mate whos tending to him is the guilty person.
the guy has topped his driver shot and hit is mate who is standing just 20 yards in front,slighty left.
must of hit him like a bullit. top of is head was split like a pitch mark on the green.
unsettled me for rest of game but suppose it happens sometimes. at least he knows where not to stand next time.

I agree with you this site is great for people like us who want to talk about our golf. Hopefully people will read what we type. I'm off soon to play in my Sunday 4 ball HOPE I win more money today. The weather is Sh** this morning

Cosworth, I do enjoy reading all the posts on the forum (with the exceptions of blattant pluggers aka d_clarke and aiii).

I am not having a cheap pop at you, I just think that before we have time to enjoy your post you are diluting it with another almost instantly. Each of your posts are well thought out and enjoyable but please try and think how it looks when they appear in quick succession.

madandra i appreciate you replying in a kind manner as your previous comments did annoy me slightly but hey forgive and forget i say.
firstly tho i am new and not interested in the top post prize as its only wkends i get time on net anyways so got no chance of competing with those who work with comps allday.
i do feel tho that this prize thing is fuelling a stupid debate that is allowing some to put themselves above others by appearing superior and causing some silly things to be said.
also if this incident didnt happen yest then there would have been no post from me as i'd nothing to say.
genuinly thought this would intrest some to know there are dangers in the game.

Cosworth - interesting post and I have been standing next to someone at the Open who also got head smashed open and it does shake you up. Don't think I could have played a round after witnessing that.
Madandra I think may be referring not the actual post itself but the quick fire speed it was delivered. We're all a bit old school on here. I have been on other forums and have no idea what they are talking about half time. My friends send me txts with all the abbreviations etc with no capitals or full stop and it's like decipering morse code. Or maybe I'm just a slow reader.
