YAY, mine just turned up! been waiting ages for one, but told my Mum that i wanted one for my birthday (4th Jan), so i waited and waited......birthday arrives, she has a load of presents for me, just not what i really wanted!haha.
Went to hers with my GF for a great fillet steak for lunch and whilst the girls are washing up, get online order the Hillman TM-1500 rangefinder! £109! BOSH! anyway, that was at 3pm wednesday, nearly half 1 on friday and the postman just turned up with it.
As my mum is borrowing my car, i cant dash off to the practice ground at the club to fine tune wedges, so have to wait until tomorrow!DAMN!
But did have a quick play with it out the bedroom window, already I can see im under-guessing ranges!! 35 yds to the house opposite!!NO WAY!!! thought it was more like 60! was thinking I could hit a good SW from my garden to his, might have to ask him if its ok as i cant get upto the club!ha.
will post a review in the review section during next week, just to back up the one there already!

have fun with your new toy

i have been using a gps for about 8 months and am still surprised at some distances, lost count of times its said say 50 yards and im thinking only 30!

had one about 4 months (there's a review in the Review Section) and I think it's the dog's doodahs, to the extent I've stopped taking my Skycaddie on the course. Absolutely brilliant value.

You'll wonder how you coped without it! :D

yeah, followed the review from the start. was going to plump for the SC 2.5, but glad I got the range finder!where have you seen the main benefit?

Similar to myself Jaymo. I find it most useful when needing to hit anything from a 8i down as they are my most consistent yardages.
