Hi folks

I am after a few polo T's for golfing. Ideally I'd like something that looks decent, probably quite plain and keeps me cool (poly mix etc rather than cotton) and would prefer not to spend too much! Is there anything in the £15 range that folk can recommend?
Thanks

Have a look in Sports Direct. Can get some good value Nike, Adidas, Ashworth and Greg Norman. If you're not fussed about logos, the Dunlop stuff is pretty decent for very little money too.

I buy woodworm shirts from the sports HQ. Good quality and very cheap. Sometimes I find Nike drifit shirts cheap at sports direct and they are really good. Recently they have added a golf shirt section to my local TK Max and I have found all sorts of top brands for under fifteen quid.

Thanks for the info so far folks. Will give those sites a look now!
GB72-thanks for that feedback on Woodworm; was just going to ask If anybody had them and what they thought of the quality!

Sports Direct. They have a large range of ones. I find the polyester ones best overall. The cotton ones don't fair the wash as well.

Dunlop ones with embroidered logos are great. The printed logos don't wear as well if you aren't careful with the iron.

They also have Antigua ones which are a good and you can also get Dunop branded Antigua top at the upper end of your budget.

Then there is the Greg Norman range.

Basically get into a store and and have a look. You can try on a few and get your size sorted and if they don't have the colours you want in store then you can buy online.

If you want bigger named brands cheap then TK Max seems to have a large range of Ping at the moment as well as some other brands Mostly around £20 but some end of range for less. I saw a really nice one for £12 but it was a medium.

I did pick this up for £8 though. Very nice feeling top.

Online will probably be my option rather than getting into the shops but there does seem to be lots of choice on those sites. If Dunlop is good enough for Clarke and Westwood it might do me too....

I picked up a set of the woodworm from sportshq a few months ago, very good experience. Nice quality shirt, they wear well, wash well and are great pricing.

try here sports direct's golf shops they only have shops in Leicester, Loughborough and Nottingham I think but on line sale seems really cheap

buy from sports direct instore or online, cheap than the above link. For example them Antigua shirts are £10.99 above but £7.50 on sports direct.

Seems to be more and more poly shirts rathe than cotton, I personally prefer cotton polo's.

Definitely a fan.

Quality great.

1 style/colour that I got (years ago) was odd (almost rubbery). Still got a few brand new in bag as they've lasted about 4 years!

Sizing pretty much spot on. Unlike the Greg Norman (also great quality). GN are American sizing so 'M' fitted my 'L' with plenty to spare!

TKMax is a good source if there's one convenient.

However, there is nothing wrong with the Dunlop shirts; I've a couple and they are in better nick than similarly aged Nike ones.

Same here. I guarantee that if the same shirt were covered in a more respected brands logos then very few would question the quality. In fact I wouldn't be surprised if they came from the same factory anyway! But I do think you get the best from the embroidered shirts. As I said above the printed logos just don't seem hold up well although the main material is still fine.

Lee's shirts are actually made in collaboration with Antigua using the "desert dry" material. Sports direct do them for £15 or so. They are very nice in warmer weather.
