As I seem to get on better with woods or hybrids than long irons, I would quite like to buy a 6 or 7 hybrid, but nobody seems to sell them any more! Callaway used to make high lofted wood up to #11, but not any more it seems. Looking in American Golf and other golf stores, nobody seems to go beyond a 5 wood or hybrid, so does anybody know of a supplier of higher lofted versions?

Ping still do hybrids up to 6, you should be able to find a G30 6 hybrid.

Found on the first supplier I checked!

Adams New Idea Hybrid is available in 28* and 32* (6 and 7). They also do a 7 wood btw.

As Imurg posted, not stocking them doesn't mean they are not available!

One of my friends has an ancient Callaway #7 wood which he still uses. Seems to be a wonderful club for all sorts of medium distance shots, especially from the rough! :)

The Heavenwood is still available! Oh and, checking that out, I noticed that 7 through 11 FWs are available too! You just need to look, rather than simply bemoaning their demise! Asking the Pro/Assistant at a golf store would likely get the same result too!

Tell that to K.J. Choi. He was an Olympic standard power lifter before he took up golf, but he has a bag full of woods and hybrids, plus a few wedges. One of his nicknames is "Tank"! Golf is about How Many, not How! :)

AG won't stock 7,9 or 11 woods as there is a small market for them
They will be able to order them in no problem....

Special order sounds like I will have to pay full whack for the things, rather than picking them up as end of range sale items! :(

There is a callaway 28* hybrid, I think the new big bertha, in my local range. Brand spanking new!
