Often see the wifes on here reffered to as HID been racking my brai and have no idea what it stands for.

Someone please let me in on the joke

Always referred to the wife as HID. She doesn't mind (I think)

Mine is "The Boss", "The Wifey" or "The Missus", to her face I just call her "Oi!"

Note that HID can also stand for "Him indoors" for our lady members :thup:

A lot of my army mates call the other half "the long haired general". I call mine and even my mates have started calling her it "HRH".

I just keep it simple and call her the wife. Bad news tho troops my wife seen this thread so I think shes onto us.

Chief Exec or Head Gardener for mine.
We tend to have most of our arguments in the garden as we are both grandchildren of market gardeners.
I'm hard landscape and vegetables whilst she is pretty things and pruning.
