Well I've bit the bullet and ordered the MX300's 5 to PW!

I'm even selling my beautiful electric guitar, amp and effects unit to fund this little extavagance. She never did like them anyway!

I just hope the clubs behave as they did on the course and range. Am I concerned? Yes a little, as I (hopefully) won't have my MX19's to fall back on.

I now can't wait for them to arrive. But rest assured, the Mrs will notice the different clubs. She may not know anything about them, but she can spot when they're different.

Be a man and 'fess up. The fact that you've cleared some clutter with the guitar, amp and unit will help as most women hate clutter (well our clutter - funny how 20 pairs of her shoes in a cupboard is seen as essential) and you could tell her the cost offset the price of the new clubs.

I can usually get away with it if it involves me selling stuff, when I was into fishing I sold my beloved red Gretsch Electromatic, my Fender Telecaster 1972 reissue and another Solid bodied Gretsch.
I then had to sell all the fishing gear to buy my current golf gear.
The trauma us men have to go through hey, the Women should be more understanding really.

How many times has your lass sold a pair of shoes to fund a new pair? they just go and buy them and to hell with the expense. We men have every right to buy new gear if we want it, if HID doesn't like it tell her to shut up and count the cost of the contents of her wardrobe.

You should have bought some of those horrible iron covers before you bought the new clubs. They would hide new irons perfectly, and at worse delay the day of reckoning.

I like the look of the MX300's, also I love the fact Mizuno don't charge the buyer for shaft upgrades most of the time unlike Ping
