Have been viewing the site for a few weeks now and have decided to take the plunge with a few replies today.

Play my golf at the Kent National (which I believe has recently received an HSBC silver ranking) and also at Aldeburgh where my grandfather was the pro before he retired!!!!

This seems like a great site to have a chat with real golfers, so look forward to the banter!

Aldeburgh - what a great course eh, How hard is the 18th. Never made a par yet in 6 or 7 visits!

Well done for finally taking the plunge. There seem to be more and more members getting involved at the minute, which is all the better for the board of course. The more the merrier!

It's a truly fantastic course.... Very tough though and all that gorse!!!!! No par 5's at all, but if you can shoot anywhere near 80 round there you know you've had a decent day!!!!!

Have spent some great afternoons there with my father who still plays in the artisans (i think i spelt that right).

A true gem!!!!
