Hever Castle

Played it last year and wouldn't rush back.
it looked Freddie kruger had been dragged across every green.
apart from some glorious big old trees it was pretty forgettable

I like it, beautiful setting. I often play the 9 hole course there when I'm short of time.

It tends to be a firm fast running course, it takes a well struck iron to hold any green in summer.

It can get be somewhat full with societies in summer, which would put me off being a member, but never had any complaints as a visitor.

I played it last year and would certainly play it again. Some good long holes and a lovely club house

like a lot of courses, just starting to make a real transition from winter, looked a lot better this weekend than last and reckon in 2-3 weeks will be in great nick.

I'll add that I had a quite exceptional bacon roll there before playing the 9 hole princes course last weekend
