And this is me blowing it !!



Just back from the club champs sat/sun 36 hole effort. Off 10, yesterday a nett 64 secured me the lowest nett round, and today a scratchy nett 72 was enough to get me the overall nett trophy. With a big cut to 8.3 also :thup:

I came something like 8th overall gross, only about 15 shots back. But the fella that won it was off +1


I'm breaking my rule of self congratulatory posts.....sorry

Cheers gents, the 36 hole trophy was presented to the club in 1919. The first 3 winners were; Major Cornwallis, Lt Col Colson, Capt WH trinder..... And now me!!! Who says standards at golf clubs have slipped

Cheers, I can't get too excited it is only the nett but the gross was being fought out by 2x scratch players and 1 off +1. Maybe next year
