Hi, I am about to order a ping cadence shea h putter and just want to confirm i am getting the correct configuration.

My wrist to floor is 91.5cm and I am 6'2". I have a conventional stance i.e. not hunched over but not too upright. My putter tempo is averaging at 1.7 and I have a strong arc. My hand length is 21cm, longest finger 9cm. I am looking to get a cadence TR shea h, blue insert, green dot, 35" long, Winn lite jumbo pistol grip.

Does this sound suitable? Any advice welcome! Thanks in advance.

I have no idea what all that means but here is a story:-

My mate was suffering form three putts and missing form 3 ft on a regular basis which he just developed having used the same putter for a number of years. I had heard of a putting fitter at one of the Manchester golf clubs who charges about £50 for an hour. In that hour (although my mate paid For an hour and half) they analyse your swing. impact, path etc etc. they then on site have an full array of putters for you to try and you can select one or take the info away with you.

Like a lot of independent fitters the money you pay is NOT discounted off the club but the putters are competitively priced. My mate was more than satisfied and came away with a Ping counter balanced putter, the three putts all but disappeared and some long putts started to drop noticeably within a round or two.

So although I do not know if the above is correct if you have the info from a professional or professional fitter then go for it and all the best. I am lucky my old trusty Ping Anser does the job for me.

Best of luck

Hit em straight ....ish

Are these static measurements you've done yourself or have you been for a fitting? I had a putter fitting and got the Scottsdale TR Anser 2 the one before the Cadence. I had my lie angle 4 degrees flat and have an adjustable length putter to get the right height.

I'd suggest having a pro look at your stroke and help you make the right choice but if you've already done that just trust their judgement.

Happy putting :)
