Help re Ping Driver

Hi Ping Forumers,
Is there anyone out there who, like me, has upgraded from a G5 to a G15/20/25, and who has had trouble adjusting to the new club? I just don't seem to be able to strike my G15 anywhere near as well as my old G5. Maybe it's the newer style head shape? Is there some secret that I am missing?

I would suggest trying an i20 instead of a G20etc if moving from a G5. My dad at 74 just couldn't get a better fit from the newer G series over his G5 when he went for a fit. They tried him on an i20 just on the off chance and its given him a few extra precious yards and some how he's now even straighter!

I tried the G15,not a patch on the G10 IMO

What is the issue, are you missing the middle? Is it ballooning etc?

Stick with it DD, i changed my G5 to G15 and went back to the G5 a few times but eventually things got better, not sure but think it was the shaft difference for me, the G5 had a grafalloy pro launch blue which suited me and the G15 had Ping's stock TFC shaft, but all's well now.

I have an old PING G2 with Grafolloy Shaft and its better than the G20 I had briefly

for the price the older G2 / G5 Drivers are hard to beat even today

I had a G5 when they first came out I too tried the G15 but could not get on with it I have tried the G20 and G25 both of which i liked.
Finally I have gone with the Ping rapture. My Mate still has his G5 and hits it out there with the rest and the best.
