Help! R11 3 Wood advice

Just bought a used 3 wood online and can't find anything about one of these that has green writing in the Taylormade logo. I'm a bit of a noob so bear with me.

It was only cheap so it doesn't matter much but is it fake? I wouldn't think the seller would have knowingly done so. I can spot a fake guitar a mile off but golf club spotting is new to me.

someone has just done a paint fill job on it mate. nothing to worry about

Happy days. Just got it down the range tonight and seems fine anyways bar my usual standard of striking.

Yep they wouldn't put an entirely different colour in a fake, the fakes are far too good for that. You can also add to that the non-stock shaft that is in it, most likely an enthusiast had it and just lacked a bit of taste with his paintfill selections

Ha! Yeah, I never noticed the green on the ad, was maybe a little dark in the pics. I'm not a big fan of green but then again it'll be hiding in divots most of the time anyways.
