HELP! Problem with 2 G mails on IPad Pro and iPhone

Not the sharpest tool in the box with IPad /Gmail.

When I updated my IPad a couple of months ago I ended up with 2 email boxes. I looked on Google and it said delete one but I have no idea which one.

One has a blue box with an envelope inside. The other has a white box with a coloured Capital M inside.

Which do I delete please?

If you want to use just one email then which one do you use most? The blue box is Apple and the other one will be Gmail.

Thanks. Therefore it is better to use the blue box as in there I have gmail, hot mail and iCloud.

Am I correct in thinking discarding the other box and keeping the blue box will b ebetter and will include my gmail emails?

If the email address is the same, they'll both go into each inbox.

So it's then upto you which one you prefer. If you've got an iPhone I'd probably go with the Apple one!
