Help me Im a computer dinosaur

Can anyone help me I am fairly new to the forum.
1. How do I put a picture ( as some of them really good) in my user details.

2. I see people have added photos in their replies, how do yuo do that???

Set up an account with photobucket (it's free) upload your pic from your PC. Double click on the photo in photobucket then to the left of it there will be the written details for the pic. Click on this. It will highlight yellow and say copied. Then go back to the forum page write your post or reply and right click then click copy. the written details will appear under the post, when you preview your post the pic will appear, then just click submit as usual and hey presto the pic will be there. It's not as hard as it reads try it. hope this helps.

Sorry but how has my photo ( its of no relevance as trying to figure out how to do it .......aaaargh) come up in yours????

at the end of it and you get a post like the one above.

right click on IMG code at the right hand side of your photobucket page and select "copy"

right click on this site and select "paste"



Voila!

In my Photobucket Album if I hover the cursor over the picture I want to paste a drop down menu appears. Left click on the IMG option and it will highlight the link. Right click on that and then select paste. Then go to the forum you want to post on, right click again and select paste. The picture will then appear when you post.
A word of warning though, if you delete the picture from your Photobucket account, the picture will disappear from your post.

At the top of the page under "Welcome..." click on "User Options" then click on "Main Configiration" You will then see "Personal Info" Click the "Edit" and near the bottom of the page you will see a section which allows you to add an Avatar (Small picture) this can be anything as long as it is smaller then the size allowed.
If you have a picture etc that is too big, you can shrink it to fit by using this site. http://www.shrinkpictures.com/
