Saw a bit of Jools Holland on NewYears eve, specifically Pokey Lafarge and the South City Three and found myself really liking it. Reminded me a lot of the Soggy Bottom Boys from "O Brother Where Art Though". Fortunately I threw it away at the weekend, but then found myself singing along to Songs of Praise in the evening ...aarrgghh!

Sadly my dad died back in 2002 and so I've not had a chance to compare myself wiht him as I've gotten older but I do seem to be making noises and mutterings as I sit down and get out of my armchair like an old timer
