Morning all
I've spoken to Rick about this as I'm taking part in a Tough Mudder event on October 5th which also raises money for Help for Heros. As I'm involved with the event at West Hills, and I know you lot are a generous bunch, I will be using the page set up for Golf Monthly Forum for any donations that people would like to make.

To give you an idea of what I'll be going through it's easier for you to see for yourself so I've attached a link to the Tough Mudder Website. You can also search Tough Mudder into YouTube and you will see plenty of videos showing what I've let myself in for.

For those of you who would rather see info on here then I've highlighted the key points:
Cholmondeley Estate’s terrain consists of woodlands, fields, ponds, lakes, and bogs. The perfect combination of land elements to create an extremely muddy and challenging Tough Mudder course.
78% completeion rate making this the hardest of it's kind
The course is between 10-12 miles and will contain around 22 obstacles ranging from crawling through electric cables to scrambling through a mile of mud
This is my first event like this. I've run in 5k park runs but this will stretch me both physically and mentally - I'm 5ft 11" weighing 14 stone
I appreciate that alot of you have already donated, but any extra you can squeeze out is much appreciated and we all know it's for a great cause.
Thanks for taking the time to read this, and I'll be showing off my finishers headband on the 7th.
