Hi everyone

Given how sorting some decent accom and pub/food/drink often seems to get buried, I thought I'd start up a separate thread to discuss and get things booked a bit easier. Look forward to hearing ideas from everyone...

Cheers

Tip, don’t panic book. I paid £150 last year for an empty premier inn, it seemed everyone booked it on a flexi or enquired online which drove the price through the roof.

I've already booked the same hotel as last year. Mainly due to the coffee machine in the room if I'm honest...

Free cancellation as I may yet still not make either days - or maybe will play both! :ROFLMAO:

That the famous Farnham Purple Palace?

I originally booked the Premier Inn on flex for £155, then cancelled and stayed in a B&B in Fleet for £65. Fortunately, had a nice pub just 200 yards away.

Booked the Premier Inn in Godalming this year.

Anyone else booked anything for H4H yet? Would be good to hear everyone’s thoughts.

The Purple Palace wasn’t cheap when I looked recently.

Last year I ended up booking Aldershot Travelodge which was cheaper than the Premier Inns. Haven't even looked yet for this year's though.

Had another look and Godalming isn’t too bad. Would be up for sharing a room if needs be.

Rooms available in the 50s and 60s upwards.

Guildford is very near though and could be a great option for all of us.

The Purples are still pricey, but could be because it’s still early in the year.

Frim West Surrey's website:
Our main Hotel partner is the Crown in Chiddingfold a beautiful 16th century inn, click here to view the website and mention West Surrey Golf Club for a preferential rate.
Might work out cheaper than some others.
