Well, 36 hole handicap trophy today and I returned a 79 and an 84 (4 doubles!!!!) which should see me down to 9.2 or 9.3 depending on standard scratch !!!

However.....i have entered the Kilgramol Trophy and St Annes old links and its possible now that I wont be able to play (its for handicaps 10 to 18). I'm going to email the club and ask if I can still go round , but obviously not pick up any prizes. Long shot I know but has anyone played in this before and found themselves in the same situation?

Well done mate. That's what a practise set of 32's will do for your game. Looks like the NWOoM is paying dividends for a few people. Not me obviously. Still stuck on the sidelines with an arm that can't even pick up a small child!!!!!

Great round and well done on single figures. Interesting that one as I entered it last week with the last space. Did wonder what would happen if you get cut below the 10 threshold. Keep us informed of what happens :)

Get in there pal! Told you it was due! This is only the start for you as well, your deffo capable of lower still :).

Im sure they will be ok with you playing but not winning etc. cant see them throwing you out.

P.S Thanks for leaving the road clear for me to steam to victory :D Owe you pint for that :).

the competition entry conditions will (should!) cover whether it's open to those with handicaps 10-18 at the time of entry, or the time of playing.

the former is more usual, although conditions can include committee discretion.

edit - having looked at it it's not clear; it will have cropped up before so you should get a straight forward answer!

Cheers mate, sorry to hear your injury is not healing as fast as you would like !!! Im loving the mp32's , tbh, im hitting them just as well as the i15's.

Always a pleasure big guy :whoo:

When you due back on the course?

Agree with Birchy Junior, don't think you're cuts will stop there........

Cheers Iain, I hope your right mate !! I need to drive the ball better than I did today though. When I was in play, I made par, but a few too many times, an ugly pull hook came out and I was fighting for bogeys.
