Hi all,

I'm new here so be gentle if I'm posting in the wrong place. I'm pretty new to golf, I've had a set of Howson clubs from a mate for £30 for about 13 years, but kids and life got in the way of me playing. But now kids are at school and I have some free time, I've decided to take it up in earnest. Anyway, to cut a long story short, I've put my Howson in the loft, bought some Ping Zing 2 irons (3-SW) and a Ping G25 driver, so I feel I have a much better kit set up with a lie angle to suit me, and started taking lessons. I'm in the Leicestershire area and really have only played on the Breedon Academy course so far.

Hopefully you guys and gals will be able to help me with an un-ending list of threads entitled Help....., or how do I.....?

Cheers

Squiza

Welcome along. Stay around and get stuck in. Lessons are the way forward. Work hard on the drills you are given and have fun when you get out and play. The G25 is a great driver

How do Mr squirrel and welcome to another dimension. Interesting times ahead for you on this site 😳😁

dont be shy to ask owt, because equipment, clothing etc etc has come a long way since "Howson".

ah the good old days of Hoswon and Hippo.

Hello buddy hope you enjoy your chosen pastime, lessons are a good place to start but don't forget that lessons should only be used as pointers and tips to help you develope your own game as what works for someone else might not work for you !...

Welcome along Squirrel.. Or tree rat as I like to call them as they strip the bark from the trees in my garden and send the dog into apoplectic fits every time she sees one..... :D
