Hi,

just thought I would introduce myself to all of you. I have been playing for just over 1 year now , got into it as I had to give up football and I was becoming a right ratty git at home due to not having anything to do.

Never played such a good frustrating game in my life, always that one good shot to make you think you have conquered the game and to bring you back for more.

Understand your position, I took up golf when I had to give up rugby due to injury. My wife supported the idea at the time until I became truely obsessed.

I live in Hampshire and play at Wickham Park. It's a good club to learn at , and they are owned by the Crown group so each year you get 8 free go's at every other Crown course.

Played today at East Horton . Everything that could go wrong did. Only managed 20 points (first time playing off 20), however there was that one good shot that has me booking in to play again on Thursday.
