Just signed up to the forum and thought I would say hello!

Not a memeber of any course but entering socres in to an online handicap website I'm playing off 20 and now having lessons to hopefully improve for the summer.

I live near Heathrow and play every weekend with a friend from Reading so we go for courses between us both like Wexham, Bird Hills and Pine Ridge. But now looking to join somewhere but no ideas yet.

Anyways, hello again and look forward getting involved

How's Pine Ridge at the weekends these days? I like it round there but there always seems to be a queue of about 3 groups on the 2nd tee which drives me mental. Shame really as it's about 5 minutes from my house.

Have been playing off and on for around 5 years, but didn't really take it seriously until about 12 months ago.....don't like playing on my own and used to move around alot so never really had anyone to go and play with.

Pine Ridge is a nightmare at the weekend, always queues on the first tee then you are stuck behind a group with another one right behind. Doesn't usually space out until you start the back nine. Must admit, for the price I would have expected better, and to be honest after the last experience of having an old fart zooming back an forth in the cart shouting orders I wont be going back. Pitty as its a really nice course.

Nothing's changed then. I must admit I'm amazed that people still put up with it but if they are, then the course must be making a fortune.
