Firstly apologies if this is in the wrong section. I have just stumbled upon this forum whilst searching for reviews on a new trolley.
Im currently a member at Aston Wood GC in Sutton Coldfield. I've been trying to master the game for the last 3 years and I'm slowly getting better. Currently playing to 16. Main goal is to get to single figures. How many years this will take remains to be seen :fore:

Golfing aside I also love my VWs and mountain bikes. Look forward to contributing in any way I can and reading how were all playing and finding the course.

hi Davey, aston wood is great, very friendly atmosphere and the course is a real challenge. I haven't played the belfry, but am possibly having a club fitting soon for the titleist 714's and 913's

I have a 1990 3dr mk2 golf, currently in the process of getting a big turbo 2.1 20v engine back in, and I have a 2k caddy for work, on kw coilovers and some Bentley mono blocks. You into the motors???? Thanks again for the warm welcome people.

Yep had about 7-8 mk2's one running 340bhp. One of only 3 turbos made with head and block but went through gear boxes for fun ;(

Golfdub was my name on club gti so it makes sense to use it here aswell

I'd love to have a mk1 golf gti, had one for a while years back but never got it road worthy. Not much use with the spanners. Sold it to a mate to turn into a track day car.

Hey man, new to this myself too.

ASTON WOOD!!! I was trying to join there last year tried emailing and ringing about membership details and nobody ever got back to me must have been my tone. searched everywhere since for prices for that place and a few emails later still nothing. You wouldn't have an email address for the right person to contact would you? Had 2 years on mytime now would love to branch out a bit and join a real club. Oh and the only mag I ever bought before I was into golf was volksworld my dream of a 55 cal look oval has evaporated and been replaced by that of being a single figure golfer one far away day!
