hedgehog wheels ?

evening all,just a quick thread.The time is shortly coming were our club will be asking to use hedgehog wheels on trolleys,does anyone leave them on all year round ? if so what are if any are the advantages or disadvantages.All replies appreciated.

I have the wraparound hedgehogs rather than separate wheels.
Mine stay on all year as it's, quite frankly, a pain to take them off and put them on again. After being on all Winter I don't want to risk ripping them.
Also they'd get lost in the Black Hole that is my Garage (non-Executive)..

I've always wondered why a 20kg trolley has to have hedgehog wheels when a 17stone golfer can walk behind it and on the greens with all the weight focused on a small area ( your feet )
