HDID phantom 0.1

Anyone else had a phantom 0.1 on HDID. Logged in yesterday and everything was fine. Played a medal yesterday and won with 38pts (par 71 CSS 72) so figure a 0.2 cut due so logged in to check if it had been processed only to find I had gone up 0.1 with no corresponding handicap change event in my notices section.

Bit odd seeing as I have buffered my last 4 comps prior to yesterday.

There could be a comp missing on HDID.

Sometimes comps closed on the Club2000 system don't actually get posted on HDID.

Request your Handicap Record - from the Club Secretary - and it should identify the missing comp. You can then 'audit' HDID to see which comp hasn't been published.

Presumably it wasn't from an away Open?

HDID is not the definitive source of your handicp. The Club system (and Noticeboard) is - in conjunction with away Reductions.

It shows "Handicap records are for gold members only..."

You may be able to manufacture it from cut/paste-ing the last comp results - and your handicap value off HDID.

Otherwise, it's an email/phone call to your H'Cap Secy - for the definitive Record. And it might pay to tell him why, as he might be able to enlighten directly.

We had this problem at our club and it missed 3 comps that I got 0.1 back on each. Very confusing!
