Hawaii State Amateur Champion swing

interesting- closes face, bent arms, lots of movement, leading foot leaves the ground, grip looks too strong etc etc etc

but it all comes together at impact- plenty ways to swing a cat.

Did he win by much and whats his handicap?

If you look a lot of the basics at address and in the swing are all good and common to a lot of the better golfers. He just has his own take on the bits you can change around.

Solid fundamentals and a repeatable swing make for a champion I guess.

Probably a consequence of using a fairly heavy Driver - for his age/size - from an very very early age.

He isn't really old enough to be watching vids of Natalie Gulbis!

Nicklaus had a pretty funky head movement in his early teens - apparently 'cured' somewhat by his coach grabbing a handful of his hair and holding it while he swung!
