Amazingly in 7 months of membership I have only managed to get out for 1 medal round, bad weather and a couple missed because I couldn't make the dates. Last one was mid-October.

Have you put one in yet for 2010?

I have put in 3 so far this year (last 3 saturdays), I have only played 3 times this year.

Need to figure out how to play 17 & 18 at our place again. Have finished double, double on both cards!!

Jan Feb and March were all off winter tees and some winter greens, even worse I found out when I turned out in Feb that they had closed the 18th completely; I scrubbed round March.
This month, the first off proper tees (not sure about greens) I'd been ill and had to scrub that too.

First one needed bogey up the last to hit buffer and made triple.
Second one just scraped into buffer.

Not really the start I was looking for in 2010

First one next Saturday, we went back on proper tees yesterday. Expect to play in around 40+ qualifying comps this season like every year.

Quite a few. Got qualifiers up our place all the time. Some weeks Fri, Sat and Sun. Must have missed 15 already. I try to play as many qualifiers as poss so like the way we have it atm.

Joined a new club this year and decided to start over from scratch at the new place.Was playing off 16 last year and the new course is longer and tougher,but weirdly,I expect my handicap to be the same, possibly even better.I put it down to the new place being in better nick with usga greens (probably longer and more undulating putts, but truer reads and runs)

Missed the first comp of the season last week. Next comp I can play in is the week after next.

Think i've played about 15 rounds this year. No comps except for a texas scramble so havent had the chance to add a .1 or get any off either.

Out tomorrow for the weekly medal so we'll see how it goes

Put 2 cards in this season.
So far so good. No h/cap change! Good for me as all my previous cards saw my handicap rise steadily. Looks like I may have even reached a plateau so hopefully it'll start to go down this season.

18 so far in 2010, ( 13 medal & 5 stableford). In hindsight, shouldn't have entered some of the ones in January due to the conditions and pretty much guaranteed 0.1 back in each of those.
Won't be making the same mistake next winter and will definitely be more selective.
