Have you played the Golf In Scotland series?

I just signed up to this amateur tour. Basically you play stableford at 4 courses out of a choice of 14 then play a final at Castle Stuart. Winner is the one with the most points after the 5 rounds. Some great clubs to choose from with Castle Stuart being the icing on the cake.

Has anyone played in this before? Or playing this year? Would be great to know how you found it. It looks good to me.

It does look good. Going to play some great courses.

Seems a very good format and price at good to great venues, whats not to like if you are vaguely in the central belt?

It's very nearly sold out already so you will need to move fast if you want in.

It does look good and I was sorely tempted this year but struggled to get details of next year's important fixtures. By the time I'd done that most of the courses I was keen to play were full. It's difficult to commit to so many dates at this time of year and having played castle Stuart before it isn't the big carrot it might otherwise have been.

Maybe 2018!

I've not done the series events but have only heard good things about it from those that have. What I have done is played at another of their annual finals (a team scramble) and found it to be well organised and a good day out.

Like Karen though, I was too late for the courses and dates that are best for me in 2017 so I'm thinking about giving it a go in 2018 instead.
