Has changing your ball ever took shots off your game??

We all have our favourite balls to use on the course but can anyone honestly say by changing from one ball to another type of ball has dropped shots off their game?

I can't say it's helped me massively but I still buy Pro V1's!

I've changed from srixon soft feel to pro v1's as they give extra distance than the soft feel but retain softness. Has this dropped shots off my game...???? It might get me in better positions off the tee by being longer but I can honestly say it means i take I shorter club to the green and not necessarily dropping shots.

Anyone seen any differences in their game?

I usually play AD333's. Last weekend I reached into my bag and pulled out a Pinnacle!!! Nearly put it back in the bag but elected to play it.

Result was I played my best round ever! Add to that, on the 18th green, holed out and picked the very same ball out of the hole. Can't say fairer than that.

Not at my level. I prefer the feeling of a top end ball (Pro V, Z Star etc) but I can't really say any performs exceptionally better for me.

The only ball I have ever been surprised by is the srixon trispeed. This is a great ball for the money, really zings off the driver. However, I still play proV1. Don't know why, apart from I have hundreds of them.

Hmmm.

I've played with balls that have messed up my putting and added shots to my game.

I could have played with them until I got used to them, but I just took them into a charity shop and told them to sell them for £4 a sleeve.

Shan't be buying AD333s again.

Do they coat them in Nitroglycerin?
