I have twice once I was on channel 4 racing in the betting ring.
The 2nd time I was in a costumers house selling insurance when the the local news came on and it was a Monday evening.
The previous day I had been playing in a football cup final,we were 1-0 down with 5 minutes to go and I went up for a free kick as I was a defender,as the ball came over my mate headed it up in the air and I did a scissor kick from 18 yards into the far corner.
The picture on the customers face as he recognised me was of total shock.
The reason it was on there was because a West Country reporter was in the opposing team.

My son was born premature weighing 1lb 10oz's and when he was one Tommy's Charity used him in a national campaign, he was featured on the ITV News and me and the Mrs were interviewed about his start in life.
Also been on quite a bit in the background when on duty as Yeomen of The Guard, but as we all look the same it's hit and miss if recognised.

I was interviewed by Di Dougherty - or Stewart as she was then - when I played in a 5 hole scramble with Howeller's and our illustrious Leader at Bearwood Lakes in front of Sky Sports cameras....Stensen, Kjeldsen and Miguel were there too.......and we won!!

Also, way back in the 70's, Wycombe Wanderers, who were in the Isthmian League were playing Jackie Charlton's Middlesbrough in the 3rd round of the Cup. They were top of the 1st division and we held them to a draw and my mug got shown on The Big Match..

Golf tournament this year.

On the final few holes whenever the cameras turned up I drove into a hazard, made bogey, then thinned it through the back of the last and duffed the chip.
Awesome.
Not.
:(

I've been on BBC Worldwide news, NBC, MTV, plus some Japanese, Dutch and German stations I can't remember the names of. All to do with work. Done a few bits of YouTube rubbish too.

Got filmed playing the 17th of the Old Course by ESPN this year but don't know if it got aired.

Not TV but a silly life ambition is to be a guest on Radio4's Today programme one day. Hopefully for something good and not to be grilled. :)

Appeared on Channel 4 racing a number of times as part of a syndicate who owned a horse called Dream Alliance. He won the Welsh Grand National and ran in the Grand National itself.

He has a great back story and a documentary film was made about him (Dark Horse - the incredible true story of Dream Alliance), which had its premiere at the Sundance Film Festival in January this year. It won the World Documentary Audience Award at the festival.

I got to see the film at the official UK premiere in April and I do appear in it briefly on a few occasions. Its now out on DVD. Well worth a watch :D. I believe that it will be shown on Channel 4 next year and I expect that it will be in the week prior to the Grand National.

Just google Dream Alliance if you want to read the story. The Telegraph probably has the most accurate pieces.

I was on the Lottery with Anthea Turner,on a beach in Lorrete de mar.
I was about 12 at the time.
She had some cracking teeth.

A number of times whilst in thevRAF

Interviewed by Sky news in Kosovo

And when in Basra and Afghan over Xmas

I was part of the Jubilee celebrations and are display was televised

Was televised laying a wreath in Afghan

And interviewed by Sky Sports and the hockey finals a couple years back

Been on a few times but the one I remember most was when I watched a game from the Millenium Stadium TV box and at half time went out and stood on the balcony which was directly behind the presenters. I phoned HID up to tell her to switch to the football and she will see me on the tele. She did and said yes you look as though you are on the phone. :mmm:

I have been on two BBC game shows.
The Christmas edition (I think it was 1983) of "Bobs Full House" with Bob Monkhouse. Won a colour TV and I think it was about £150.00 for a local charity. Still have the DVD to prove it....:o:o:o:o

Couple of years later I received a call from the BBC to appear on another one, this time with Noel Edmonds on a short lived show called "Whatever Next". Took part with my then Sister in Law and we won it.
That was taped but the evidence has been lost somewhere. Just as well. The show bombed and was axed after one series I think.
