Hey all played Saturday and knew right away that it wasn't gonna be a good driving day, Couldn't hit the middle of the club at all, Bailed on the driver after 5 hole and used my 3 wood and did really well hit most fairways with good distances.

Played Sunday with the feeling in my head that yesterday was just one of those days and today would be better.
You guessed it, it wasn't better same problem couldn't find the middle and again bailed on the driver after 5 holes, so again went to the 3 wood and did pretty well most fairways with good distances.

The Mini is a easy to hit 3 wood, Should i bail on my driver permanently and use the mini?

Cheers

You've just hit your own 3W well two days running, finding the fairways. Why change to another 3 wood? Or practice with your driver?

My 3 wood good but if i wanted to use a 3wood all the time id want something the most easiest to hit as possible and i heard thats the mini

Agree with this besides there are other 3 woods out there that are longer than the mini, the Callaway x hot 3 deep for instance. Plus you are already playing a very good 3wood.

What basis do you say the 3 deep is longer than the mini? Certainly wasnt the case for me when I hit both on trackman at the Belfry (I have a 3Deep and the Mini was def longer for me, even though not the right spec)

I wouldn't have thought the Mini would be much easier to hit than the RBZ 3wood.
Give one a few hits & see how you get on with it.

It's not as big as a G20 driver head;)

Go for it,you've just missed out on one in the for sale section.

Very true but as I'm sure you know its always different with the driver, the added expectations always seem to try to hard even when we know we shouldn't, With the 3 wood i accept i wont hit it as far as the driver so I don't try too, then i hit it sweet and it flies nearly just as far.

There you go

Hi fundy it was a review that was done by Rick Shiel who is very good on comparing clubs against each other. Actually I think it was the 2deep he compared it with.

Of course buddy I just feel its added pressure when people get the driver out

What do people think here?
When you get the driver out do you feel the added pressures of using it?
Wanting to hit it hard wanting to hit yours furthers then your friends, the little added pressures of using it
