Has the summer finished?

Nah, summer still got a good bit to go. A bit nippy at 6am, buy by 9am it's a nice day indeed. Heading for the golf course this afternoon, still go the shorts on for that. Some longer range weather model;s suggest a warmer than normal period of weather through until mid Oct, now that would be good ;-)

Summer is over for us, very nice day today with a nip in the air early doors though weekend forecast grim. It's been a fairly poor August tbh, not too fussed had my 2 weeks away and agood summer here May June so done ok. I like the autumn personally, noted a few yellow leaves on the birches already.

Weather looks nice and warm in Berkshire this weekend and decent amount of sunshine, especially Sunday for the Jamega pro-am. Hoping to enjoy it. Would be nice for an Indian summer the first week of October please for West Hill and H4H

Weathers done a full circle, 20+ degrees today for both Saturday & Sunday, and golf courses all around the area are getting greener and greener every day.

Still some decent run on the fairways, but the semi rough is getting back to its penal height so I expect to see scores come down as the course starts showing it’s teethe again.

BBc weather for Inversneck for the last week has said 15 deg its been 20+ every day and 24 yesterday was even that in the wind at nairn in the afternoon

I’ve started to wear more layers round the house.

Summer is still around, it’s just back to normal not heatwave.

Autumn starts proper after this nice spell.

Well, it was still pleasantly warm outside yesterday evening...
No need for any additional layers...
Currently 23 degrees on the patio thermometer...

Off to Lincolnshire soon so guessing I might have to pack an additional layer for that week...

Beautiful day in Berks but sadly no golf. So watching to se if Westy can hang on. Getting a bit shaky over last few holes but has just set up a birdie from a terrible spot as I write.

This is by far the best time of the year for golf
